A MURAL FOR SOMEONE LARGER THAN LIFE!

Being a huge fan of the Chicago Bulls growing up, I found it amazing to watch Dennis Rodman play basketball.  I can’t think of a subject more exciting to the viewer (or more interesting to me as a painter). Dennis effortlessly exudes all of the energy and excitement that makes a portrait great.  As an artist, I couldn’t ask for a better subject.

Over the years, I have created many pieces for this rebounding legend including large canvases and quite a few basketballs which posed a bit of a challenge to me being they are not flat.  Nevertheless they all were so much fun to paint and it’s near impossible to not come out with something special using the worm as a muse!
