TRANSFORMING A PARKING GARAGE INTO SOMETHING MORE!
I was first introduced to Todd Graves, the founder of Raising Cane’s Chicken, while at an ad shoot with Chevy Chase. We all ended up at dinner at the end of the night. Chevy and his wife Jayni (being the great people they are) proudly told Todd all about how I was an artist and that I should show him some of my work. After that I got my first project with Raising Cane’s (from one of their marketing associates who would later become a good friend). After a couple small projects (meaning in size because nothing RC does is small), I got the call to transform their massive parking garage into something special to add to their outside patio that it sits up against. After a handful of designs, Todd said he wanted sauce dripping down the building, THEIR secret sauce and that was it! I have to say it was definitely a first for me and I was excited to tackle it. Over the next 40 days I was also commissioned to paint the different generations of Cane, the family’s cherished dog and namesake of the restaurant!
Thousands of square feet painted (and three portraits later) we ended up adding something special to this extremely creative company!
