Painting Judge Judy's House

I had the opportunity to work on TV celebrity Judge Judy Sheindlin’s nearly completed 20,000-square-foot home. With just 30 days to finish the faux work, I assembled a talented team led by my foreman, Mike Sundell. We brought in local artist Holly Whiting and fellow professionals from across the U.S., including Ryan Sentz, Craig Walsh, Tania Seabock, and Sherry Sparks, to tackle this high-paced project. We worked long hours and lived in hotel rooms, forming lasting friendships while delivering top-quality finishes like wood graining and decorative plaster.

Working with Martin Kuckly and Associates, the exceptional father-daughter design team, was a privilege. Their impeccable style created one of the most beautiful homes I’ve ever seen. Judge Judy herself arrived midway through the project and was gracious and down-to-earth, a pleasure to work with alongside her husband. Builder Mark Mariano and his crew impressed us with their efficiency and dedication, setting a high bar for teamwork and craftsmanship. By the end, our team had not only met the tight deadline but also gained new skills, mutual respect, and enduring bonds.
