MURALS FOR “IRON MIKE”

Working on a project for Mike Tyson was an unforgettable experience that started with a surprise call in November 2019. On a Friday, Dennis Rodman phoned me, knowing I’d be in LA that weekend. He asked if I could create a painting of Mike and his wife, Kiki, as a gift of thanks. With just 48 hours before my flight, I found a photo of them and dove into the project.

A few days later, I arrived at Tyson’s ranch with Rodman and his girlfriend, Misty. As soon as Tyson spotted us, he called Rodman over. After introductions, I revealed the painting, and to my surprise, Tyson immediately requested another piece. He wanted a portrait of himself with horns, inspired by Greek mythology. Creating this private commission was an incredible experience—fun to paint and even more exciting to deliver!
